CARE GUIDE FOR YOUR KNICKERS & KNITS
Washing and caring for your hand-knit and crochet items correctly will ensure that your items will live a longer life, and the fibres won't become damaged- Keeping your items in great condition. A big part of our brand is the use of natural fibres. Natural fibres are breathable, renewable, and bio-degradable- Unfortunately meaning that the fibres are more delicate and special care is sometimes needed.

FRESHENING UP
Wool is known to have anti-bacterial properties, meaning your item doesn't need to be washed after every wear.
Airing out your item outside will allow smells to leave.

BURRITO TIME
Remove your item from the water and gently squeeze the water out. Lay out your piece on a towel and roll into a burrito- This will absorb the left over moisture.

SPOT-CLEANING
In the event of a stain : Soak up the moisture with a paper towel and use warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge to wipe away the stain.

LAY OUT TO DRY
Finally, lay your item out flat onto a towel, blocking mat or flat airer to air dry.
You should never hang a damp knit/ crochet item as the shape and fibres may stretch or warp.

HAND WASHING
Submerge your item/s in luke warm water and a dash of wool detergent and allow to sit for ten minutes (roughly). Re-submerge in clean water to remove the wool soap.
